Hi there, thought I’d introduce myself and let you all know what I do.

Based in Melbourne (Naarm), Australia, I’m a part time photographer who specialises in Sport photography.

I’m mainly involved with Motorsport, (cars and motorbikes) and also Combative sport - think Muay Thai, Karate, Boxing, Kickboxing, BJJ

And, yes, that’s my bike …

Being involved in both sports most of my adult life, I have competed in Australian sanctioned fight scene many years ago, having trained in Martial Arts in different styles for over 30 years.

I have raced cars and motorbikes over the years.  And have worked on race cars in the workshops, also working as part of pit crews, travelling across South Eastern Australia. Having an uncle who was a competitive Rally Driver, I was bound to be involved, in one form of Motor Sport or another.

I have an appreciation and understanding of what’s going on and what’s about to happen. Being able to read the action in a Muay Thai fight and pre-empting what may occur gives me the ability to capture “The Moment”.

It’s very similar in Motorsport, having been involved for many years. Noticing the slight shift in weight transfer and knowing something is about to happen, and be ready to snap that exciting, once in a lifetime moment.
